Homemade washing powder

We tried something new in the way of laundry detergent. Since I have such a high volume of dirty laundry on an ongoing basis, detergent was eating up a big part of our household budget. George and I decided to make our own from a recipe I got from Pinterest. I really like it and it only requires a small portion of the amount I usually have to add to my wash to get it clean. I think it will come out much cheaper as well. I will insert the link here if anyone is interested.
