The week-end seems to go by so fast, especially when you’re having fun. I was able to get some things accomplished that have been awaiting my attention, but believe me, there is still a long list of things I have yet to do. It was nice to have been able to spend some time with our son’s fiancee who was home from college for the week-end. She is such a sweet girl and a welcomed blessing in not only our son’s life, but our whole family’s as well.

Work was interesting today. I couldn’t believe that David Letterman has finally married his longtime girlfriend, Regina Lasko. They have been together since 1986 and have a little boy named Harry. It doesn’t look like they went all out with an extravagant wedding, however, as the two were married by the JOP in Choteau, Montana. Oh, well, they’re married and that’s all that counts, I guess. Looks like singers Josh Grobin and Katy Perry have hooked up. I wish them both the best of luck. I guess only time will tell if their relationship will last or not.

I guess that’s all the juicy news for tonight. I have to go so I can catch the season finale of Jon and Kate Plus 8. I love that show. Hope they come back for a fifth season.

Wow, it was such a beautiful, almost spring day with plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures, not too hot, not too cold. I was thinking of how I needed to be outside cleaning out my shrub garden still covered with oak leaves from the passing fall and winter seasons. I’m not a “yard person” but today was very inviting. My cold has finally let up some and I was able to attend ensemble practice last night in preparation for this Sunday’s church service. I really enjoy singing and often use it as therapy. The songs we sing are very uplifting and inspiring in this often burdensome world. I draw strength from my faith as well as from my family and friends. That’s what keeps me going and makes life worth living.

I was busy at work today. There was a lot of celebrity gossip to write about with some of it being depressing and some exciting. I was sad to read that actor Stacy Keach is in the hospital, not sure why since his illness has not been disclosed. It was reported, however, that he is in stable condition which is encouraging. On a more depressing note, actress Natasha Richardson is reportedly brain dead and has been taken off of life support. My prayers go out to her family. It was reported today that actor Bruce Willis may be getting married to his girlfriend model Emma Heming this week-end. It will be interesting to see if a wedding actually takes place or if it is just another celebrity rumor, as they often circulate the internet. Octuplet mom Nadya Suleman was able to bring two of her babies home last night, Noah and Isaiah. She was met by a swarm of photographers waiting for her to arrive at her home. I guess she should be pretty used to that by now, if that’s something you can get used to.

Well, I guess that’s it for today. I have to get back to my dinner on the stove. Can’t wait to dig into the cabbage and corned beef, one of my very favorite meals!!

It was a pretty busy Monday for me, though I was a bit more tired than usual from my lack of sleep over the week-end. The sound of the rain hitting against the house didn’t help, as it just made me feel more lazy and sleepy. I had to keep refilling my tea glass in hopes that the caffeine would keep my energy level up enough to complete my tasks at hand.

I was able to catch up on some interesting celebrity gossip pages today. I wasn’t surprised to read that Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller are the proud parents of twin boys as I was expecting to see it on the blogs at any time. It did, however, seem like she was pregnant for a long time and to her, probably an eternity. The couple chose the very conservative names of Max and Bob for their twins, unlike Jennifer Garner‘s Seraphina or M.I.A‘s Ickitt, though the singer denied naming her baby boy that, and for his sake, I hope she didn’t. Coincidently, Jennifer Jameson also gave birth to twin boys. Their names have not been revealed as of yet. I’m beginning to think there is something in the water in Hollywood. It seems like half of the pages I have created on celebrity pregnancies lately involve twins. Not sure what’s up with that but it’s beginning to “weird me out” a bit. As for other gossip, Dead or Alive singer Pete Burns is in the hospital with kidney failure. Looks like he will be out of commission for a while, as stated on his website.

Well, I guess that’s a rap for tonight. I think I’ll turn in early to catch up on some zzzzz’s. Maybe I can cut down on the caffeine intake tomorrow.

It was pretty much an uneventful day, nothing exciting happening. I’m battling a cold and so is my hubby and our little Scarlett, our 6 month old infant granddaughter. I feel so bad for her. She is such a happy baby and it makes me sad to see her miserable and fussy. I was excited to connect with an old friend on Facebook today. We were the best of buds in our teen years, and believe it or not, his name is Jack. Yes, Jack and Jill. We were quite the team. Don’t you just love Facebook!! It’s an awesome way to keep up with family and friends.  As far as work goes, there were a couple of interesting celebrity gossip items that surfaced today. Howard K. Stern and two of Anna Nicole Smith‘s doctors were arrested for conspiracy in connection with her drug overdose. On a more positive note, looks like Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy are in love, at least he is. Oh, yeah, can’t forget this one, Cesar Millan is now a U.S. citizen. I love his show, The Dog Whisperer. It’s just amazing to watch him work his magic on those animals. He’s a super talented guy! Guess that’s enough of my rambling for one day. Looking forward to going out to dinner with my hubby. I’m feeling like maybe Chinese cuisine tonight, though pizza sounds pretty good too!

Welcome to my new blog. To be honest, I wasn’t exactly sure where I wanted to go from here. I thought about making my blog on a specific topic such as celebrity gossip, in which I write about everyday at work on Mahalo.com, or my family, whom I absolutely adore and could spend endless hours writing about, or perhaps even my pets, my interests, my daily thoughts, home schooling or food. After a few days of contemplating the matter, I decided to write about all of the above. It will be interesting to see where my mind takes me on a day to day basis, and believe me, there’s no telling. I hope you will feel free to comment as we all have a right to our own opinion on matters. That’s what keeps life interesting and makes us who we are. So once again– welcome– to a little glimpse of my world.
